Happy Hour | Watermelon Basil Bramble
This summer fruit cocktail takes farm-to-table to the next level. Fresh watermelon and basil create a unique flavor that smells and tastes top-shelf.
Watermelon Basil Bramble
Makes 8 servings
- 4 cups fresh cut watermelon, deseeded
- 1 cup Hendrick’s Gin
- 1 oz. St. Germaine
- 10 fresh basil leaves
- Extra leaves for garnish
In a large bowl, cut, chop and mash watermelon, pressing to release as much juice as possible. Chill for two hours.
After chilling, mix with gin, St. Germaine.
Chop basil leaves finely. Blend with other ingredients well. Shake or run through blender or a food processor in small batches.
Pour into glass pitcher and refrigerate until serving.
Garnish with basil leaves.
